  Developed permit applications and conducted negotiations with U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, (USACOE) New York State Department of State, (NYSDOS) and NYSDEC relating to dredging, dock expansion and bulkhead development.

Wastewater

  Design and construction oversight of a wastewater treatment system for a mobile home park.

  Performed a wastewater treatment facility study and preliminary design and cost estimate for a future RV campground and 24-hour restaurant.

  Performed an evaluation of the wastewater treatment system and industrial activities at this newly acquired facility to satisfy an inquiry by the NYSDEC.

• CAMP FRENCH WOODS, Hancock, New York
  Prepared SPDES Permit Application and design for upgrade and modification to existing wastewater treatment system serving a camp population of 1,000 people.

• NEPERA, INC., Harriman, New York
  Analyzed a NYSDEC draft permit and determined that several areas of proposed regulation were inappropriate or excessive, particularly in the area of mercury. Participated in NYSDEC negotiations on behalf of the client.

• NORLITE CORPORATION, Cohoes, New York
  Assessed liquid containment measures and spill response policies for a Truck Staging Area managing liquid hazardous waste and petroleum waste, sampled accumulated stormwater. Designed wastewater treatment facility and applied for waste water modification to the State Pollution Discharged Elimination System (SPDES) permit. Modified process waste water and cooling water facility design and obtained modified SPDES permit.

• KEYMARK CORPORATION, Fonda, NY
  Prepared engineering report for replacement wastewater treatment facility and obtained NYSDEC approval to operate. Analyzed process wastewater from a particular process, conducted a sampling event on said wastewater, and analyzed various options for on-site treatment and discharge to the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW).

Stormwater Plans and Design

• THOMAS JACOBY PROPERTY, New Lebanon, New York
  Analyzed an approximately 80 acres former logging site with significant stormwater issues. Designed a stormwater detention basin to bring the site into compliance with the current stormwater regulations.
• MOUNT KISCO TRANSFER STATION, Village of Mount Kisco, New York
  Stormwater basin designed to collect runoff from the impervious areas of the Mt. Kisco Transfer Station prior to discharging to a near by NYSDEC wetland.
• CAMP FRENCH WOODS, Hancock, New York
  Developed a storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) for the upgrades to the facility, which includes the upgrade and modification to existing wastewater treatment system on site and proposed athletic field.
